He has also become a destructor of things and personal objects. His morning ritual used to go something like this: wake up, eat, throw food to Blue, play, turn on xbox, change settings on DVD player, throw all DVD's on floor, turn off xbox, turn on xbox, etc, etc, etc. By the way, he does know how to turn on the xbox by way of the console and the controller.
He is really trying to communicate a lot. He can sign (without prompts), "dog," "milk," and "all done." He used to do "more," but has stopped for some reason. He has his regular words he can say, but he is also trying to say new ones like, "hi," "kick," and "cat." He also pays close attention to the things Ryan and I do and he will mimic, like brush his hair, use the tv remote, clean with a cloth, and put memory sticks in the computer, etc. It's fun to see the new things he learns everyday.
In other news, Cannon's milk intolerance has departed, making room for ice cream, yogurt, and cheesy tortillas. This makes meal times much easier since now he can really have anything that we eat
unraveling and eating the toilet paper
Next stop, the magazines.
He ate an article I was saving.

"What are you eating?" haha I love it. We say that ALL the time! Today it was a wood chip from our table when the leg broke on Saturday.
He is such a cutie! I love when they start signing and talking. It's so fun! Ryan said more and then stopped for awhile. Probably like 3 weeks or longer. He is back to saying it now. Usually when he wants something.
I loved seeing Cannon sign dog. :) That was one of Ryan's firsts too! It is such a fun one. I also wanted to let you know that Ryan gags himself all the time. With fingers or objects. So maybe it isn't related to anything else? I hope that you're able to get it solved!
I can totally relate! Adam was our Mr. Destruction in a way the other kids never were. We ended up with locks on the toilets because we just couldn't keep him out. We had to move all of the DVD's to the gated office after he broke one and we couldn't keep him out of the DVDs. We are 80% sure he broke a computer by continually pushing the power button on and off (that's when we bought the gate for the office, a thing we had never purchased before).
Poor little Can Man! There always seems to be something not going right for him. I hope you figure it out. Have you thought about taking him to his chiropractor and having her check the tilting of the head? I need your email address to invite you to our blog since we went private.
he so reminds me of clay...can't wait to get them together. 7 steps huh?!? that's incredible! go canman! Your life reminds me of mine. It makes me smile :)
I am sad to hear about his issues with his head and reflux. Geeze poor kid! poor mom!
