Big Kid Room

I think we finally have Cannon's big kid room complete!

Here's the view from the door.  I know the drapes are kind of an eyesore, but they are very functional.  He actually has two lovely and large windows, but the curtains keep out the heat and the light (at 6am).  His windows have long vertical blinds (I hate them with a passion).  They don't come off and a regular curtain rod doesn't fit, so we just draped the curtains over the existing hardware.   

He loves his bed!  It's actually pretty cozy with the tent. 

I also love that he has his own bathroom.






The train table in his room has been a big hit!  We don't have enough space to keep it downstairs.  He will spend almost an hour each day playing trains in his room by himself.  Of course, he often invites me to come play with him too.  Sometimes he likes to go in his room and read books to himself.

He has a pretty good sized room.  I keep more toys in the closet that he will bring out sometimes (like his marble run). 








I finally feel like we are mostly clutter free.  Cannon's closet is packed, but organized.  It's nice to have everything unpacked and put together!
